Bright Ideas Conference
Bright ideas is a series of youth focused conferences developed across the Capital Regional District under the leadership of the Family Court Youth Justice Committee.  The conferences bring together youth and adults who make decisions that affect their lives (e.g. youth workers, school district staff, municipal councilors and Ministry representatives).  We work together to identify what is working well in the region, how we can learn and improve and how to plan together for the future.  The conclusions from each event inform the next steps and planning for future conferences.  Over the past 5 years, as these have developed, we have reached over 300 individuals and involved hundreds of youth.

About the Conference Partners
Bright Ideas Conferences are a joint effort, organized with the participation of Pacific Centre Family Service Association, the Capital Region Action Team Against Sexual Exploitation, the CRD Family Court Youth Justice Committee, Youthcore/BC Healthy Communities, the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, School District 62 and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), the Pathway Project, and many other community partners who have provided their support.
